A scheme offered to the consideration of the publick; which , if countenanced and encouraged, will not only promote and invigorate the execution of the laws now extant, against the breaking and profaning of the Christian Sabbath, or Lord's Day, but such Encouragement will be naturally productive of proper Ways and Means to apply to the Legislature for such supplementary Additions and Amendments to those Laws, that will make that very important Affair much more extensively efficacious to a visible Reformation. In this Performance, the Cause of the Unsuccessfulness of all former Attempts of this Kind are maturely considered, and effectually removed and provided against; all of which is plainly set forth in this little Tract.
