Les rivieres d'Oyse, et de Marne ayant marie leurs eaux avec celles de la Seyne viennent ici par leurs tours et detours rendre ensemble leurs hommages au Roy devant son Louvre, et apres avoir engraisse l'Isle de France, la plus belle, et la plus fertile du monde, elles charrient dans Paris la meilleure partie des despoilles, et des richesses du Royaume, et contribuent fort au commerce de cette ville incomparable. Israel Silvestre delineavit et fecit. Avec privilege du Roy.
