Historical Items

This section contains items created or brought together in a self-conscious attempt to document the history of the Institute. Some of the papers would seem to be the basic working materials for a published history or histories of the Institute, but it is not clear which, except for accounts and reminiscences found in Ledingham and Drury's correspondence, which presumably went into their respective articles on the Institute and its history. These are to be found in M.20, with other reprints on the history and development of the Institute.
