The patient cards generally include patient name, sex, age, geographical town, district or area they are from, patient hospital/case number, survey number and category (J - Jaw, or K - non-Jaw, DD - Differential Diagnosis) and scant details of the tumour. Sometimes cards also contain significant geographical details, a note of whether the patient died or if they lived, at which hospital the case was recorded. Some cards have photographs of patients, letters or other notes attached to them.
