Also offprint of Wilkins’ article, ‘Social implications of biology’, published in Proceedings of the third international conference from theoretical physics to biology (Karger, Basel, 1973), and typescript notes by Tom Cavalier-Smith (undated), concerning an unidentified article by Wilkins on the social responsibility of the scientist. Also transcript of a BBC Science Magazine radio broadcast, recorded May 1986, on ‘Is science above politics?’, including a contribution from Wilkins.
