About this work

Description

Dr. Hull summarises the physiological background to resuscitation and then Dr. Barrie describes the procedure used at Fulham Hospital. The airways are cleared, oxygen is blown on the baby's face, and, if the mother has had narcotics, the baby is given an injection of nalorphine, 0.5 mg.
