Papers written by D W Winnicott for presentation and/or publication. The papers have been edited and rearranged by Winnicott's posthumous editors and many items include annotations and further drafts which they produced. Several sections of material were found arranged as if for publication, but with some items apparently removed from these arrangements and renumbered for use elsewhere; these papers were therefore been arranged in a single chronological sequence (with the exception of the draft of Winnicott's proposed book, Human Nature - see ref. P01-A-B). A substantial number of unpublished papers were received in the additional accession from the Winnicott Trust, 1643, and constitute a second chronological sequence beginning at PP/DWW/A/A/51
