Am I distinctly to understand that you refuse to fulfil your en- gagement as to the disposal of Sir Astley Cooper's share of the Museum to Mr. Bransby Cooper and myself; as it was on the faith of this engagement that Sir Astley resigned, I should have con- ceived that you could have no hesitation on the subject.
