About this work
Description
This intimate, well-paced and informative film looks at the world of primordial dwarfism. A rare condition of unknown origin, there are only around 100 primordial dwarfs in the world. They rarely grow over 3 foot tall and most will die before they are 30-years-old - although Sharon, featured here, is still living at 43-years-old. Here we meet some of the world's few primordial dwarfs and their families and hear about the extreme difficulties of living with this condition. Hannah, 10-years-old, is very angry about her condition so her mother takes her to meet Sharon who, with age, has developed a very positive outlook towards her size.
