Burroughs Wellcome & Co. desk/hanging calendar illlustrated with tales of folklore. Includes advertisements for Wellcome pharmaceuticals.

The folklore tales are taken from the following works: John Wesley, Primitive Physic; Victor Robinson, M.D.,The Story of Medicine and Edith Grey Wheelwright, The Physick Garden.

The tales include such advice as how to cure a convulsive cough (by eating preserved walnuts) and how to alleviate rheumatism (by smearing the wrists of the sufferer with treacle and then covering them with brown paper).
