Description
An artwork by Psychiatric Patient 5 - "Julie" which shows a landscape/seascape. "Not thought out to the extent of being landscape or seascape, the brown at the bottom is overpaint, there is space, with the heavier in the foreground and the lighter in the background. Do the yellow letters spell MAD? Some art therapists try to make patients verbalize but I don't, it's better to talk to them, verbalizing is too superficial. My style-diagnosis (massive transitional) may be derived from watching the patient and not from the finished product." (Rita Simon).
