CABALE (La) magicochimique où est découvert la Science des Cabalistes hébreux et des Philosophes hermétiques. C'est à dire la Connoissance du grand et petit monde. I.G.S.D.F.B. 1656. Illustrated with two full-page pen-drawings of the 'Astrological Man' and an 'Astrological Head', and several number and letter Tables and diagrams, of which four are folding. Text within red rules. A note by a later 18th cent. hand on the verso of the second fly-leaf states: 'Cet ouvrage n'a jamais été imprimé, il a été traduit du latin de G. G. Paris, par un célèbre alchymiste qui a passé plus de 15 années à former ce recueuil [sic] précieux pour les Enfants de l'art. Vendu format in 4to. à la vente de M. Filhaut en 1779, 43l. 15s.
