Description

Disseminated histoplasmosis This is a low power view of a section of liver (biopsy) from an adult with histoplasmosis and HIV infection. There are two granulomas in the parenchyma (arrowed). H&E stain. Granulomatous hepatitis is also caused by mycobacteria, protozoa, hepatotoxic drugs or is of unknown cause. See image W0043276 for a high power view.
