On my appointment to the office of Physician to the London Fever Hospital, it was stated to me by the treasurer that, among the objects contemplated by the establishment ol this institution, two things were conceived to be of paramount importance : first, the accumulation of facts by which the true nature of fever might be more certainly ascertained.
