Reading based research scientist Sue Fowler has worked for the past 15 years on her theory that coloured spectacles can improve vision and thereby help children with learning difficulties and dyslexia. Her research, which was funded by the Wellcome Trust, will stop in June 1995, and further funding will not be available. Dr Gavin Malloch explains why this decision was made.
