Notes

Interview with Alison McCandish conducted by Paula Testa. McCandish plans to build a mini plinth and a section of Trafalgar Square out of Lego on the plinth in support of Diabetes UK and a charity that helps to develop educational projects in India. She explains that she has written the names of everyone that sponsored her onto different Lego bricks in order for them to get a bit of time on the plinth as well. She has raised £400 so far. Her concept was partly inspired by her job in heritage - she describes how she loves buildings.
