About this work
Description
A short item on AIDS, as news suggests that the 13 years spent developing an AIDS vaccine appear to have been a waste of time. Robin McKie, Science Editor on the Observer, says that an effective vaccine against AIDS could be at least a decade way. Nick Partridge of the Terence Higgins Trust, advises that people should practice safe sex, rather that relying on science finding à cure'. Meanwile Robert Root-Bernstein, is amongst researchers in the US, who say that AIDS is not neccessarily caused by the HIV virus.
