Notes

Mark Shephard lives in Paisley. He is a Politics Lecturer at Strathclyde University as well as teaching research methods, American politics, research in English and Scottish politics. On the plinth he is going to tell the Tales of Shep (short for Shephard) anecdotes from his life. Has made two huge banners to put around the plinth to represent his university and the Malawi charity that he supports. He is doing this for publicity for his work, department and fulfilment of a dream on going up on the plinth. Around the edge of the plinth will be his web, name, university address, charity address. He did a PhD in Houston, Texas, USA the subject was Prime Minister's Question Time and how politicians changed when there on/off camera.
