Notes

Martyn Jenkins comes from Tailgate in Wales. He is going on the plinth to promote his local area and its produce because he feels it has a lot to offer. He met Antony Gormley and his wife at the Hay Festival of Literature who invited him along for dinner. This is how he found out about One & Other. He is a retired head teacher and also has a keen interest in painting. Has contacted both the National Gallery and the Tate to see if they were willing to exhibit his work but unfortunately without success, he is still looking to continue teaching as well.
