Biographical note

Dr Allan C. Tait was on the medical staff at Crichton Royal Hospital from 1953 to 1978; he was also Director of Clinical Research from 1954 to 1966 and was Physician Superintendent from 1966 to 1978. Dr Ronald A. Robinson was a Psychiatrist at Crichton Royal Hospital from 1951 to 1971 and was in charge of setting up a geriatric unit under Dr J. Harper in 1958.
