Volume of actuarial and other mathematical formulae, in manuscript. A note on p.3 suggests the author to be one J. Lewis (fl. 1864).

Material includes text copied from published works, including by Johann Nicolaus Tetens (1736-1807) (pp.14-18). Some cuttings are pasted in including a letter from one Fédor Thoman (fl. 1864).

1 volume, 92pp.; pp.32 onwards are blank except for p.90, which carries upside-down text. 2 inserted manuscript sheets at p.9 and inserted printed sheet, with manuscript additions, at p.27.
