Description

Osteoclast resorbing an area of bone (green). The outline of the osteoclast (bone resorbing cell) cannot be seen but its multiple nuclei are visible as red spheres within the resorption pit. The green specks above the nuclei are reosprbed bone fragments within the osteoclast cytoplasm.
