About this work

Description

Dr. Wyatt's third notebook to be titled Nucleic Acids, written during his time at both the Virus Research Unit, Molteno Institue, Cambridge, England and the Laboratory of Insect Pathology, Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, Canada. This notebook contains details of tests done on DNA from bull and echinus esculenta sperm. There are also details of a large-scale preparation and analysis of LdV DNA and details of the extraction of nucleic acids from influenza, vaccinia and bovine tubercle bacilli. Information at the back of the book includes a table of the molecular weights of the four major bases and details of a procedure for the chemical analysis of the influenza virus
