21 March, 1907. Alice Millership (teacher) to Henry Wellcome, writing "on behalf of my son" (discharged 9 March). Requests advance of fare to Philadelphia, where an uncle lives who would "help him to secure employment". No reply in file.

17 December, 1907. David B Griggs (Prison Chaplain, Oxford) to Burroughs Wellcome & Co, requesting financial help to enable Millership senior to "start business again in a humble way." With brief copy reply ("we regret we cannot see our way to comply with your request").
