Description

Audio Recordings of Professor Simon Gordon interviewing Alan Williams and other historians and scientists on the Dunn School of Pathology. The interview contains information on Howard Florey including interviews on Florey and his work on penicillin. The interview also contains questions on Williams' own work on cells and cell surfaces. Audio recording in two parts of an interveiw with Alan Williams and his wife Ros Williams with Robyn Williams about their earlier years in Austrailia, university, their move to Oxford and his take over as the head of the Dunn School of Pathology. Each is around 58 minutes long, unedited and was created for "Science Show", Australian Broadcasting Corporation, 1991 Also a formal biography written by M. J. Crumpton for the publication "Memoirs of Fellows" for The Royal Society in 2004 (No. 50, pgs. 351-366).
