Biographical note

Project Summary:Wasted aims to explore the myths and history surrounding the life-giving potential of 'discarded' body parts. This project will enable me to research a series of inter-related artworks for exhibition and publication. The production phase of the project will follow, culminating in distribution from summer 20 II, when the Bluecoat will mount a major solo exhibition of my work in Liverpool. The research will focus on sculptural works, photographic pieces, and a series of publications including a book aimed primarily at educating children about stem cells and futures of medicine. In the course of this research, I will work closely with a team of eminent scientists, writers, historians and others.
