Notes

Esyllt Jones comes from North Wales. She described her village in great detail, it was a slate quarry and her family have lived there for several generations. The people who lived there and the oral history project she is running, getting older people to come and talk about a selection of their photographs. She had open heart surgery at 16 and then developed a heart problem a few years ago which meant she had to retire early. Her outlook on life is now to have fun as life is unpredictable. She is going to take photographs and play some music for people to dance to. Hopes everyone will have fun.
