Description

Letter from H H Dale, President of the Royal Society, to J B S Haldane asking if Haldane could use the occasion of the first meeting of the British Empire Cancer Campaign Committee to request the deferment of any action toward the creation of an Institute of Radiological Research until the Committee under Sir John Anderson and the Medical Research Council are in a position to advise on the new radiological resources likely to become available. Contains a copy of the agenda for a conference to discuss the desirability of setting up a National Radiological Institute for Biological and Medical Research.
