Creator/production credits

The identification of the engraver is uncertain. Attributed in the National Portrait Gallery to James Hopwood père (1745 or 1754-1819), but attributed by Burgess (loc. cit.) to James Hopwood fils (1745 or 1754-1819). The latter worked in Paris from around 1828 to at least 1847, and Chenevix lived in Paris from 1804 to his death in 1830
