To the Right Honorable Lord de Tabley, this plate of the Madona is with permission inscribed by his Lordship's most obedient serv.t T. Woolnoth. Engraved by T. Woolnoth Esq.r Historical Engraver in Ordinary to her Majesty Queen Victoria. The dedication in the present state is retained from an earlier state of the print, published on 12 June 1827, although the dedicatee of that print (John Fleming Leicester, first Baron de Tabley) had died on 18 June 1827
