Somewhat listless American public television documentary about an extremely interesting and alarming topic - B.P.F., Brazilian purpuric fever, a deadly new disease of children "discovered" by David Fleming of the Brazilian Purpuric Fever Study Group of C.D.C., Atalanta, Georgia. Caused by a mutant strain of the otherwise harmless bacteria "haemophilius aegypticus".
