Mental health killings.

Julian O'Halloran investigates continuing concern about the number of killings each year carried out by people with serious mental illness. It is estimated that on average there is one such murder every week - what can be done to reduce this death toll? We hear from the mother of 19-year-old Daniel Rogerson who stabbed a 78-year-old woman to death in their small village in Lancashire. She claims that her appeals for help for her son were not heard by the mental health services. We also hear from Enid Dodd whose husband Brian was killed by Paul Khan, a mentally ill man who had previously killed another complete stranger.
