Description
Alchemical notes and extracts from alchemical authors: in German. The first leaf contains a symbolic alchemical pen-drawn figure. The latest work mentioned in the text-on leaf [25]-is Crosset de la Haumerie [i.e. Alexandre le Crom] 'Les Secrets les plus cachés de la Philosophie des Ancients'. This was first published at Paris in 1722. [Cf. Ferguson: 'Bibliotheca Chemicá' Vol. II, pp. 15, 16].

1 volume 28 ll. (last bl.). folio. 41 x 26 cm. Unbound. The sheets are not uniform. They are numbered, by double sheet, 11, 12, 14, 16-19, 24, 25, 26 (containing 8 ll. sewn together): the last sheet seems to be by a different and later hand.
