Creator/production credits

Possibly by the same hand as a pair of portraits sold at Christie's, St James's, 11 June 1999, lots 8 and 9, portraits of Thomas Jones of Shrewsbury and his wife Sarah Jones, daughter of Richard Bavand of Chester. Thomas Jones was the first mayor of Shrewsbury and in 1625 High Sheriff of Shropshire. The Jones portraits are also dated 1615, on wood (each 90.2 x 66.1 cm.)
