About this work

Description

Correspondence, reports and questionnaires relating to the BTS Centre Effect enquiry into the wide disparity of success rates among renal transplant units. The Society arranged for "Three Wise Men" (Ross Taylor, Alan Ting and Douglas Briggs) to visit and assess eight of the twenty nine transplant centres, chosen from the best and worst results. A follow-up investigation of the Centre Effect was carried out in 1989-1990.
