Trachoma WHO grade: trachomatous scarring (TS)

WHO grade: trachomatous scarring (TS) This is the upper tarsal conjunctiva of a patient with TS. There is a mesh of fibrous scarring obscuring the deep vessels and some thickening of the lid margin. WHO (World Health Organization) define trachomatous scarring as the presence of scarring in the tarsal conjunctiva.
