Notes

Christopher Hackford lives in Clapham, London but was born in the South Pacific and grew up in Norfolk and went to Durham University. On the plinth he plans to commemorate the two last survivors of the First World War trenches (Henry Allingham and Harry Patch) and read some war poetry. He has been involved in theatre in the past. Works as a lawyer for advertising agencies.
