On the inside back-cover is an advertisement for TRC Penicillin, including the text: "At present all the Penicillin produced in Great Britain is requisitioned by the Ministry of Supply and except for a small quantity allocated to research centres is reserved for use by the Services, supplies for air-raid casualties being released when required. The Therapeutic Research Corporation regrets that it is not yet possible to offer any Penicillin for civilian cases."
