Notes

Maitland Simpson originally from Aberdeen but now lives in London. She attended University of Aberdeen and then wanted to work in the voluntary sector, moved to Edinburgh to work for the Alzheimer's Society. She then worked for Shelter. Currently she is training to be a blue-badge London tour guide so on the plinth she will be taking up a chair and a megaphone and will pretend to read her tour guide book and then get up and share 8 facts/stories about Trafalgar Square with the crowd. She hopes to qualify as a tour guide in March and would ultimately like to take small groups on walking tours of London. She is wearing a dress - turquoise blue/black - looks like a Matisse painting, and a bracelet and a ring and sparkly party shoes.
