Description

Correspondence and other material relating to the Joseph P Kennedy Jr Foundation International Awards. This programme was established to recognise outstanding achievement by individuals or organisations in the field of research into learning disorders.



This material primarily concerns Penrose's role as a member of the Selection Committee in 1962, his nomination and receipt of the Award in 1964, letters from colleagues thanking Penrose for sharing with them the money he received from the Award and lists of people with whom he shared the prize money.
