About this work

Description

Leaflet explaining the work of the Sussex Rural Community Council and Chest and Heart Association to help local people with tuberculosis (as well as asthma and bronchitis). The Christmas seals mentioned are (non postage) stamps which were sold every Christmas to raise money for charity and would have been stuck onto Christmas card envelopes, making them look brighter and also spreading awareness of the disease and what was being done to combat it.
