Notes

Kevin Smart lives in Rugby, Warwickshire. He has been a teacher for twenty years. He is planning to be a statue on the plinth. The children at the school he teaches have all pitched in to make the statue by making the cloak (a cloak of creation) and a mask. The cloak is made with felt pieces, with the theme of humanity and people, made by the children and then sewn together. Four masks were chosen out of selection to pull together as a big head. The four masks represent the four compass points and the project was called Mask Factor.
