Notes

Theodora Van der Beek, is from Bath, and has been working as production manager on the One and Other project. She originally applied to be a participant on the plinth, and then after getting the job of production manager decided she still wanted to go on the plinth. She says it has been fun being on the other side and getting to know the participants but thinks being a participant herself will give her a new perspective on her job. She is really interested in theatre particularly theatre in strange places and for non-theatre going audiences. She believes that the public can be scared by art and so she likes the interactivity of this project. On the plinth she will revisit a character that she performed in a group at Glastonbury, though is slightly anxious about doing it solo. She will set up an information point and act as an information assistant (dressed accordingly with the necessary scarf tied round the neck) answering questions from people and hopefully reading a poem.
