Photograph of the key identifying the equipment and apparatus in the engraving in image M0009395: an egraving published in Denis Diderot's Encyclopedie depicting a Parisian chemical laboratory with instruments, furnaces and vessels. The photograph was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Museum and accessioned in 1935 (accession number PHO 2885).
