Found in three bundles. Offers substantial documentation of thalidomide in the British Press, particularly for 1962 and 1972. In roughly chronological order.

Both 1962 and 1972 were significant landmarks in the history of thalidomide, 1962 being the year following the withdrawal of the drug from the UK market, and when the Thalidomide Society was founded. The issue of compensation was much debated in 1972, the year before the settlement between the thalidomide victims and the distributors of the drug in the UK was reached.
