Description

The first section is headed: 'Memorandums of certain Chemical Combinations which exhibit some remarkable Effect collected with a view of forming a series of Recreative Experiments'. The title of the second part is: 'Extracts collected from different Works on the Subjects of Dying Stuffs, Calico Printing, and Staining Wood, and other Chemical Processes...' The first section contains no dates, but was probably written before the second part. The latter seems to have begun in 1812, and the latest date given is 1816 (p. 296). Produced in Croydon.
