Description

Letters to Galton regarding Alice Lee's thesis on the reconstruction of skull capacity. Encloses a memorandum for Galton with Turner's thoughts on the paper, a letter agreeing to support Lee's candidature for the Doctorate, but reserving doubt over the her method as solving the problem of determining internal capacity from external measurements, and asking for Galton's report to the Senate to be revised slightly. Includes original envelope.
