Description
Successful application to the Medical Research Council (MRC) for additional funds to hire a consultant to support an acedb implementation of FlyBase, along with related correspondence. ACeDB is a genomic database originally developed for C. elegans genomic data but later adapted to hold the genomic data of other organisms. FlyBase is another bioinformatics database and the primary repository for Drosophila genomic data. Related records are in PP/MIA/A/7/2/8 and additional FlyBase grant files are in PP/MIA/B/1/3.
