About this work

Description

"I've finished my PhD, which was one of the things One False Move was kind of supposed to be documenting. It's about the Moors murders & Peter Sutcliffe in popular culture [...but this zine] by accident has ended up as a eulogy to my thesis. [...] It's odd to feel your life so sharply divided into 2, a before and an after, by something so trivial or apparently good - I mean the thesis part anyway. The idea life goes on or there's anything to celebrate seems laughable. So in spite of my best intentions this has turned into a bit of a mental ill-health zine again after all."--Pages 2, 5, 9 and 10.

"CN [content note]: death; suicide; MH [mental health]; grief; post-academia; murderers; hellworld"--From cover.
