Project Summary:Two exhibits from the University of Bristol celebrate at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition 2009, inviting visitors to discuss the latest in biological science and engineering. "The Palaeodetectives" gives visitors the chance to experience the work of real-life scientific detectives, uncovering the prehistoric past with cutting-edge chemistry. "The Chewing Robot" is a new machine that could revolutionise dental research. It demonstrates how engineers learn from nature to develop new technologies.
